Sulfate Resistance Portland Cement (Shield)

Lafarge Emirates Sulfate-Resisting Portland Cement (SRPC) is highly suitable for concrete structures subject to sulfates rich environment. This is highly suitable where sulfates present in soil, groundwater, seawater, etc. are in concentrations that would damage concrete made with normal Portland cement.

Sulfate resistance is achieved by limiting the level of Tri Calcium Aluminate (C3A), the primary component that influences resistance to sulfate attack in concrete. It conforms to both BS 4027:1996 & ASTM C 150: 2007 (Type V) standards. It is suitable for applications namely structural concrete subject to sulfate attack, blinding, sewage treatment structures, mass concrete structures, foundation, underground structures etc.
